Flexible and Scalable
PointOfView NG2 Enterprise Server allows a single
user to manage content, scheduling and distribution
across a digital signage network of 10 to 100,000 +
screens from one central location.
Network Independent
Operates over any TCPIP based network on a user
defined ‘Pull’ or ‘Push’ data transfer model. The
distribution of data can be centrally managed and
scheduled for optimum usage of available bandwidth.
Standardised Installation and Integration
The PointOfView NG2 system used standard
Microsoft Windows components such as SQL and IIS
ensuring that the system integrates seamlessly into
existing corporate network infrastructures and uses
current security protocols
Secure
Encrypted roll based user access ensures that users
may only view and edit the system variables that they
are authorised to do so. The system also keeps a
record of all user activity.
Future Proof
All PointOfView NG2 upgrades, patches and version
updates may be distributed and installed across
PointOfView NG2 network from the head end.

Basic Overview
|
System consists of a PointOfView NG
2 server located at the central offices and at each of the Points of
Information would be a Plasma / LCD screen connected to a miniPC containing the PointOfView software.
The controller can create media content and schedules which can be uploaded at convenient times from the
central location and out to each miniPC. These would retain the information and play back the information to
the screens in accordance with the schedules.

Scheduling

All scheduling can be completed via the central office location and sent to each miniPC where it is held along
with the associated content until required for playing.

Installation Requirements

Screen will require installing at point of information either
by wall mounting, floor stand or ceiling mounting.
MiniPC will require installing in vicinity of screen (can be
out of sight behind or separate room, cabling allowing)
Power for both screen and miniPC required and network
connection for miniPC.
