Digital Signage solutions offer a wide range of functionality and flexibility to standard signage and information
dissemination problems.
By linking screens together in one location, a central user can compile their information in one location and send
that information out to each screen. Additionally, they are able to send different information to different screens
for showing at the same or different times. This negates the need to have separate controllers for separate
screens meaning constant duplication for each point of view.
Most systems will also allow the user options as to how their end screen image will look. Screens can be divided
into areas showing different media content including images, video, text, scrolling messages and news / weather
information from Internet streaming feeds.
Furthermore, most digital signage systems will allow the user to compile schedules containing different media
content which can be set to automatically update the various individual screens at pre-determined times weeks in
advance.
Finally, not only can the user control their screens in one location, many will allow hundreds of screens to be
controlled over a Wide Area Network in hundreds of different locations for a truly global information system.
