The Cayin Dynamic Digital Signage System (also known as Narrowcasting) is a multimedia platform which
distributes rich information in abundant formats (HTML, Flash, video, texts, pictures and even streaming video)
over an IP network to digital displays or projectors.
Replacing or enhancing traditional signs, digital signage offers a flexible and an interactive communication
platform to promote, inform, educate and entertain specific audiences at specific times in a variety of out-of-home
occasions
.
|
|
The simple to use interface allows the compiler to
utilise the full screen area for one image or create a
number of different templates for each monitor
incorporating image areas
Different media can then be inserted into these image
areas to be played out at pre-scheduled times for
effective and eye-catching results.
|
|
|
Networks
Based on IP addresses, the system easily integrates into any LAN / WAN. At the main office location is a CMS
Server allowing efficient media player management, content update, central scheduling, streaming video
broadcast and access control.
At each site location is an SMP player attached to your chosen media player such as LCD / Plasma screen. The
SMP player uploads the required media from the CMS server along with the schedule and applies this – in
accordance to the schedule requirements – onto the screen.
|
|
|
|
Whilst individual screens can be controlled from the central location, the CMS Server allows easy control and
management of many sites. You can control play-lists, content and live video streaming to all players or a group
from a central location.
Larger servers will allow up to 8 separate video feeds allowing multiple feeds to be streamed.
Information and schedules are stored on the SMP system so if there is a network disconnection, they
automatically change to off-line mode and continue the play-list.
